They exited the hall they had entered in and made their way down the corridor. Various exit's came off the hallway but these were in darkness. One or two of them looked like they had collapsed. The source of light was easy enough to find, torches that were lit further down the hallway. The hallway came to a T junction. The Left hand side was dark and the corridor was not as wide as the one they had just come down. To the right the overall theme of the corridor changed but notably blended from one style to another well. (See Picture above)
They turned right down the dimly lit corridor, an effect which added to the overall score on the 'creepiness' meter. This area was more Gothic in style. Old banners hung in various places along the passage although time had clearly worn them away that they were faded, ripped and unrecognizable. A cold chill suddenly blew down the hallway, the type of chill that made hairs on the back of your neck stick up.
The hallway opened up into a small lobby area / waiting area. In front were two large stone double doors... they were a work of art and clearly had a meaning. A meaning they would have had time to study had it not been for the doors being slightly ajar and the sound of someones voice coming through it.
A quick analysis was that the door was big and heavy and likely to make some noise when moved It was open enough for Patrick and Ione to squeeze through but it would be difficult to do that without it moving.
